Raymond’s 13-year journey with SPBD Microfinance showcases a dedicated and progressive career within the organization. Starting as a Center Manager in 2010, he climbed the professional ladder by assuming various senior roles in SPBD Samoa. His career opportunities took him to the Solomon Islands in 2019, where he assumed the role of Head of Operations.  In 2023, Raymond became the General Manager.

Throughout his tenure, Raymond has been a catalyst for innovation within SPBD Microfinance. His contributions played a pivotal role in the development and launch of several new financial products, demonstrating his strategic vision and commitment to advancing the organization’s services. Notable among these achievements were the introduction of the SME loan product, overseas workers loan product, and white goods loan product.

Raymond is also committed to financial literacy. He actively participated in promoting SPBD Samoa’s financial literacy initiative, showcasing his passion for empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions. He remains committed to championing enhanced financial education programs at SPBD Solomon Islands to ensure that clients are equipped to navigate their financial lives.
