Steve has 40 years of domestic and international finance experience and has worked extensively in the private sector for major U.S. financial and public accounting institutions, including U.S. Bank and Price Waterhouse. Steve was the Vice President of Financial Services and CFO at Mercy Corps, a $500 million in revenue international NGO. Steve was board chair of XacBank in Mongolia, one of the most successful microfinance organizations in Asia. Steve is currently the board chair of MiCRO SCC, a reinsurance company that was created to offer natural catastrophe microinsurance solutions to vulnerable populations in developing countries in Latin America. Steve is also a director at AFK, a microfinance bank in Kosovo. Steve received his MBA in Finance from the University of California at Irvine and his BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Treasury Professional. Steve has lived overseas, both in Samoa and Singapore.
