Elizabeth Funk

Elizabeth is the founder and CEO of Dignity Capital, a collection of impact investing funds and projects. She is the Senior General Partner at Dev Equity, a fund providing for-profit, venture-style investments to social enterprises in Latin America.  Elizabeth created the Dignity Fund in 2004, one of the first for-profit funds mobilizing investment capital for the microfinance  industry. She served as Chairman of the Board of Unitus, one of the most innovative microfinance accelerators. Prior to her  career in impact investing, Elizabeth served as the President and CEO of CML Global Capital, a publicly traded investment firm  based in Canada and Hong Kong. She started her career at Microsoft and later with Yahoo.

Elizabeth has turned her sights to  helping with the housing crisis at home. She is the founder of DignityMoves, which is building dignified interim housing for  people experiencing homelessness. She serves on the board of LifeMoves, a homelessness services organization, and on the  advisory board of Community Housing Partnership. Her additional current and past Board positions include Glide’s Community  Housing initiative (San Francisco), Young President’s Organization, Uchu Spice Solutions (Ecuador), Candid Snacks (Peru),  Havelaar, Deutsche Bank’s Global Microfinance Consortium Fund, FINCA’s Microfinance Fund, MicroPlace, Root Capital, I-Spire  Ventures, Silicon Valley Microfinance Network, and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (India). Elizabeth holds an undergraduate  degree in International Relations and Economics with Honors from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar.
