Reshma Chand is an accomplished finance and audit professional with more than 20 years of extensive experience across auditing, financial reporting, risk management, internal control, and corporate governance. With a career spanning senior leadership roles in both global and local institutions, she brings deep technical expertise and a strong commitment to accountability and transparency to her role as Head of Internal Audit at SPBD.

Before joining SPBD, Reshma served as Director of Finance at Basic Industries Pte Limited, a subsidiary of the Fijian Holdings Group, where she oversaw multi-location finance operations. Prior to this, she spent 16 years with KPMG Fiji, rising through the ranks from Audit Staff to Director. During her tenure, she led complex audits of public companies, listed entities, financial institutions, utilities, government bodies, and major private-sector groups across Fiji and the Pacific.

She currently holds several governance and professional leadership positions, including Council Member, Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants, Board Member, Fiji Public Trustee Corporation Pte Limited and Treasurer, Fiji Chess Federation.

Reshma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Information Systems, and is a Fellow CPA Australia as well as a Chartered Accountant with the Fiji Institute of Accountants and CA ANZ.
