Summer intern 2015 – Casey Moran

Spending the summer at MicroDreams / SPBD was an unbeatable experience that will stay with me for years to come. As someone looking to enter the business / finance world, I was able to immerse myself in every aspect of their operations. Not only was I able to dig into the financial statements and help develop new products for SPBD’s clients, but I also worked to secure new funding to expand the reach of the organizations. These hands on experiences are invaluable, and I will be able to draw on them extensively in future endeavors.

Working closely with the entire MicroDreams and SPBD team brought years of knowledge, constant guidance and instruction to allow me to grow, experiment, and most importantly learn what it takes to successfully manage such a geographically diverse organization. It was truly satisfying working for such mission-driven organizations where I could see firsthand how they work to better the lives of thousands of families. What SPBD and MicroDreams have been able to achieve in a relatively short period of time is truly remarkable, and I look forward to following their success long into the future.
